My name is Steve Small, owner/operator and lead designer for CADtek. I have been working full time as a contract designer in the southern Ontario area since 1978, doing nothing but printed circuit board layout & design. Although the tools of the trade have changed over time my philosophy on providing the absolute best service has not. I offer knowledge, skill, expertise, experience and above all the drive to deliver the best possible design. As testament to this, many of my regular clients date back some 20 years or more!
Since 1992 CADtek has been based out of the Orangeville area, more recently moving to Grand Valley. This location is ideal as it allows me to reach and service many of my clients based in the GTA by a short drive. Where distance is an issue, technology allows me to service my client base that stretches across North America and beyond without issue.
Having worked in this industry for as long as I have, I am associated and work closely with leaders in both engineering and manufacturing on a daily basis. These long term relationships not only help me do the best job possible but with the support of IPC standards and DFM considerations it ensures that your design and product will meet the increasing demands of today’s technology the first time.
